In 2004 we moved our family to a historic farm in Oregon City. Over the years, we have carefully untangled the land from masses of blackberries and other invasive plants. Using regenerative and organic farming practices, we have created a thriving ecosystem buzzing with life. Outside of our production areas we have established native plantings and worked collaboratively with the county and our neighbors to rehabilitate a riparian zone along Abernathy Creek.

Working the land beneath my feet is a drive so deep that I feel the soil must be rooted in my soul. Everywhere I have lived I have planted every viable inch of space.  For the past 10 years my focus was on vegetables and unusual edibles, partially driven by my boys desire to snack their way through the garden. Having horses and chickens provided a great supply of compost, helping amend the dense clay soil. Over the last several years, I have been slowly shifting back to my first love, flower growing.
